NEIL ANDERSON received his B.A. from Plymouth State University in ’97 and went on to get his MFA in lighting design from Indiana University in ‘00. Neil has designed many shows in the Boston area, from Molly Maguire with Sugan Theatre to The Last Train To Nibroc with Coyote Theatre. For several seasons, Neil was the Assistant Lighting Supervisor at American Repertory Theatre before moving to Chicago. In the Windy City, Neil designed productions for various companies such as Organic Theatre, Speaking Ring Theatre, and Circle Theatre. In 2004, Neil took a one semester teaching position at his Alma Mater. After his temporary teaching post at PSU was up, Neil, again, relocated, this time to Georgia. Since arriving in Georgia he has designed Hair and Endgame at GSU, Cartoon, Nobody Here But Us Chickens, MEDS, and Schreibstuck with Out of Hand theatre, The Reach of Song in northern Georgia, The Thing About Men, The Watercoolers and The Santaland Diaries at Horizon Theatre, the regional premiere of The Violet Hour at 7 Stages Theatre and Candide for GSU Opera. Currently, Neil is the the Master Electrician/Lighting Designer for Rialto Center for the Arts which is a Georgia State University facility.
